Do you regret not wearing a big "fairytale" ballgown wedding dress?

I'm just curious as I plan on wearing a more sleek dress. I always thought I'd go for something big and poofy, but now that I'm actually choosing, something much more body-fitting has caught my eye. I was just wondering if there are any brides who later regretted not going for the classic big dress".
