Joanna Yeates: is it particularly wise for the Police to ban TV news channels from press conferences ?

i don't think they should ban any news channels, is ridiculous. the family needs as much publicity as it can to find the killer out there. as i have said before, it is only through media coverage that speeded up the investigation of steve wright. they must have another reason that they are not disclosing to ban itn as it doesn't make sense in such a high profiled case.
