I need advice about a Chinese guy that I like :)?

Ok good advice please...there's this Chinese guy that I like...he is tall, smart, funny, handsome, and most important really sweet...alot of girls like him. Who can blame him lol...anyways I started to like him in the summer because he was paying more attention to me, out of all the "popular girls". (im in the universaty, by the way) talking to me more, making more evey contact with me, and my heart race so fast that when he makes eye contact, I get nervous and I look away...then he's been sitting next to me a lot and always end up next to me somehow...he have ask me to study together too....I just need advice about him... Why is he giving me so much attention lately? And his parents are STEREOTYPES...will that be a problem if we start dating?
